Advanced Lap & Tech Fellowship

Advanced Laparoscopic and Technology Fellowship:
A laparoscopic mini-fellowship at Beth Israel’s Advanced Medical Technology Institute is six weeks of intensive training for physicians who want to become “21st Century Cyber-Surgeons.” With increased demand for surgeons with minimally invasive expertise, there are increasing opportunities for those willing to stay on the cutting edge of new procedures. To achieve this goal, Dr. James “Butch” Rosser has established a mini-fellowship that promotes laparoscopic skill development without spending an extra year in a formal fellowship. A split session format is available and makes the program accessible to surgeons who may not be able to be away from their practice for 6 weeks at a time. Surgeons can attend the first three weeks and then return for the final three weeks at a later time.
