  • To educate participants on issues surrounding laparoscopic cholangiography 
  • To expose surgeons of the technical aspects, as well as risks, costs and benefits of laparoscopic cholangiography
  • To develop the participants' understanding of routes available for laparoscopic exploration of the common duct
  • To expose surgeons to the different instrumentation and skills involved in trans-cystic exploration, trans-choledochal exploration, and stone extraction
  • To increase the participants' comfort level with laparoscopic instrumentation of the biliary tract.
