BASIC LAPAROSCOPIC SKILLS & SUTURING

Course Objectives 

  • Enhance the proficiency of the non-dominant hand to improve the participant's overall laparoscopic surgical skills
  • Gain exposure to drills that enhance bimanual dexterity, depth compensation, and accuracy in the laparoscopic environment
  • Receive suturing training that will increase participant's skill and confidence to permit subsequent cases to be done more efficiently and effectively
  • Receive an objective evaluation of participant's skill in the laparoscopic environment
